Vancouver Sun Run Training Begins
PLEASE NOTE: Regular training runs held on Wednesdays and Monday afternoons at 2:30 p.m. from Mission Possible are on hold to facilitate Vancouver Sun Run Training. Below is our revised scheduled. Regular weekly runs will resume after the Vancouver Sun Run is over after April 15, 2012
Vancouver Sun Training
When: starting Sunday, January 15th - April 8th, 2012
Time: 10am- 11:30am
Where: Carnegie Theatre (1st Floor) at 401 Main Street (Carnegie Community Centre)
All committed participants who register and attend as a Team Carnegie member in the Vancouver Sun Run will receive a free running Run for Change vest/ jacket. Training will be held every Sunday for a period of 13 weeks leading up to the Vancouver Sun Run being held on April 15th. Come RAIN OR SHINE. Participation is free and running shoes will be provided if needed or you can bring your own. Snacks and refreshments will be provided after each run.

Hope you have a wonderful holiday and Happy New Year. We’ve missed you. January training resumes this week. We’ll be gearing things up to prepare for the Vancouver Sun Run.

Date set for 3rd Annual 5km Fun Run
We’ve set a date for next year’s 3rd Annual Run for Change 5km Fun Run. The event is free to all participants and volunteers will be needed. We had a great turnout last year and the event doubled in size from 2009 in terms of the number of participants and volunteers. Please mark your calendar and come out and join us. Stay tuned to the website for further details closer to race day.
